The legendary <em>Dallas<\/em> star was 81.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.immortalitymedicine.tv\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-o-matic\/cache\/d359bf01cb_larry-hagman-pic-500x333.jpg\" width=\"500\" alt=\"Larry Hagman Pic\" height=\"333\" style=\"padding-left:10px; padding-right: 10px;\"><\/p><p>Hagman - who also appeared recently on <em>Nip\/Tuck<\/em> and <em>Desperate Housewives<\/em> - was surrounded by loved ones at a Dallas hospital yesterday around 4:20 p.m. when he passed.<\/p><p>He had announced in the summer of 2011 that he had been diagnosed with a \"treatable\" form of cancer, but then celebrated a few months ago by claiming it was in \"remission.\"<\/p><p>Said Warner Bros. TV and <em>Dallas<\/em> executive producers Cynthia Cidre and Michael M. Robin in a joint statement:<\/p><p>Hagman was &ldquo;a giant, a larger-than-life personality whose iconic performance as J.R. Ewing will endure as one of the most indelible in entertainment history. He truly loved portraying this globally recognized character, and he leaves a legacy of entertainment, generosity and grace.&rdquo;<\/p><p>the veteran star is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Maj; two children and five grandkids.
