How did you find out you had Parkinsons disease? <\/p>\n
Roughly 11 years ago, I was experiencing a lot of trouble swallowing, so I visited my GP who then referred me to an ear, nose and throat specialist. <\/p>\n
The specialist thought I might have Parkinsons disease, so he referred me to a neurologist. <\/p>\n
The next day I visited a neurologist, who performed a brain scan, which confirmed I had Parkinsons disease. <\/p>\n
How does the disease effect you? <\/p>\n
Im a bit slower with my movements, for example, my right leg tends to freeze every now and then. <\/p>\n
My leg doesnt receive the message to step forward at times. <\/p>\n
Without management, I also experience hand tremors. <\/p>\n
How is the disease treated? <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
