Mevion Medical Systems announced today that it has delivered the superconducting synchrocyclotron for the MEVION S250 Proton Therapy System currently under installation at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, the flagship cancer hospital of The Cancer Institute of New Jersey and the principal teaching hospital of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. This is the second MEVION S250 proton therapy system delivered in the past 6 months, both installed at NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. <\/p>\n
