\n pediatrician, Christina DiNicola, MD, FAAP, offers conventional
\n pediatric medicine in addition to evidence-based complementary
\n therapies to facilitate the natural healing process in

\n \u201cIntegrative medicine\u2019s natural and comprehensive approach can

\n Integrative medicine \u201cintegrates\u201d conventional medicine with
\n those complementary therapies for which there is high-quality
\n scientific evidence of safety and effectiveness. Integrative
\n medicine differs from alternative medicine in that alternative
\n medicine refers to therapies that are typically excluded by and
\n used in place of conventional medicine. The distinction between
\n the two is critical to understanding the philosophy and
\n approach of integrative medicine.\n <\/p>\n
\n Dr. DiNicola works in concert with each child\u2019s existing
\n pediatrician to create an integrative health plan for each
\n child or teen, and offers pediatric integrative medicine
\n consults to parents interested in healing their children
\n through both conventional and complementary therapies.\n <\/p>\n
\n The Integrative Pediatrics program treats a wide range of
\n medical conditions, including ADD\/ADHD, allergies, asthma,

\n A rigorous two-year Fellowship in Integrative Medicine
\n followed. DiNicola studied as a Bravewell Scholar at the

\n integrative medicine advocate, Andrew Weil, MD. The prestigious
\n program is operated through the Bravewell Collaborative, a

\n University. She received her medical degree from University of
