Guilford High School student wore blackface to football game against Hartford team – Hartford Courant

A Guilford school resource officer immediately directed the student to remove his black face paint, which he did, before the Friday game began and most spectators had arrived, according to Guilford Public Schools Superintendent Paul Freeman, who sent the letter to the Guilford community and the towns board of education Tuesday. The student was not a member of the football team, according to communications director Lorri Hahn.
