Hundreds protest Spanish health cuts

PROTESTERS have marched in Madrid against a a new government measure restricting free health care for some immigrants, which has already provoked a revolt by some doctors and regional health bodies. Hundreds of people demonstrated noisily against the measure, which will limit access to free health care for immigrants without full legal status in Spain. Coventry Health Care, HCA Virginia Health System settle insurance coverage dispute – www.roanoke.com

A contract dispute that prevented patients covered by insurance policies from Coventry Health Care from using HCA Virginia Health System hospitals has been resolved. HCA is the parent company of Salem-based LewisGale Regional Health System.
