March 19, 2013 – Frontier League (FL) Florence Freedom The Florence Freedom welcome back radio play-by-play broadcaster Steve Jarnicki as he will announce all 96 games during the 2013 regular season in addition to the playoffs should the Freedom qualify. Jarnicki, who is the owner of his own production company, has teamed up with Great Lakes radio station 1320 AM WCVG to broadcast these games. Freedom Game to Help Fund Memorial in Independence

August 16, 2012 – Frontier League (FL) Florence Freedom FLORENCE, KY – Every Tuesday night when the Florence Freedom are home, the team has partnered with different Northern Kentucky communities by hosting their night at the ballpark; giving discounts to residents and raising support for a charity that hits close to home. On Tuesday, August 21, residents of Northern Kentucky can rally together to support the city of Independence as they raise support for the building of the Memorial Oaks of South Kenton military veterans and first responders memorial, which is currently under construction on the campus of Simon Kenton High School in Independence.
